Subject: Re: FR-Updates

Date: Mon, 13 Sep 2010 19:07:07 +0200

I have another job. FR is only a hobby project (making games from arcadelab.com and donutgames.com), and I don't make much money from it. However, I am now a freelancer and more in control of my time, so that is why I will be putting more time into "finishing" my programs as well as making new. I don't think I will ever live completely off of my programs, but perhaps half of my income could come from it?

How much do you think people would be prepared to pay for software such as Flash Renamer. In the beginning I charged $15, then $20. The increase did not affect the sales. But I belive there is a limit. Perhaps $25 or $30. I doubt many would like to pay $40 for FR and other shareware like I have. What do you think?

FR can already move your photos into folders based on exif properties. Something like this: <\>

I think that image conversion is a bit too far away from the core of FR. Of course, so is mp3-tagging. And photos are a big reason for using FR. So it's not *that* stupid of an idea :-) ...

But there is an update coming, and it will probably be a big one! I know you like to test beta versions, so I promise I will let you know when I start working on it!
