Find the Flash Renamer installation folder and run the program "unreg.exe". This will remove all the setting except for registration information. Hopefully this will solve your problems!

I purchased Flash Renamer v4.x in March 2003. Order #2003-0312-1352-29-135. Order placed thru BMT Micro, Inc.
Since that time, I’ve performed updates/upgrades and currently am using the 4.81 version. I’ve had no problems whatsoever until now.
No matter what groups of files I place within the FlashRenamer rename screen, I can’t “RENAME” them. I’ve checked a group of test files and ran various alterations on the files. I’ve listed which tabs work and which ones DO NOT.
WORKS
Convert Case
Add & Crop
Format
Find & Replace
DOES NOT WORK
Enum
Space
Attributes & Date
MP3
Makes no difference if I load the files via the file structure route or “free select”. Appears to have nothing to do with “long filename problems”.
I have not attempted to reload the software. I have no other versions to reload…unless I find one of the download - .exe files.
I’m thinking that I must have changed something myself, but I can’t figure what settings I may have fouled.
Would appreciate your thoughts.
